You'll get a chance to review and confirm before anything is saved.

What if I'm offline when I record a voice note?

No worries — BuildMate stores your recording locally on your phone and automatically uploads and processes it when you're back online. You'll see a notification once it's been processed.

How do I connect Xero?

Go to Settings > Integrations and click 'Connect' next to Xero. You'll be redirected to Xero to authorise the connection. Once connected, your expenses, invoices, and contacts will sync automatically.

Can I generate quotes with my voice?

Yes! From a job page, tap the microphone and describe the work. BuildMate's AI will ask qualifying questions (up to 5), then generate a professional quote with line items, GST, and your business details. You can review and edit before sending.

How does the free trial work?

You get 14 days of full access with no credit card required. At the end of your trial, you can subscribe to continue. If you don't subscribe, you'll have 30 days of read-only access to export your data.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings > Billing and click 'Manage subscription'. You can cancel anytime through the Stripe billing portal. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
